Calacatta Gold Quartz Countertops - Boost Your Business

Hey there! As your trusted Chinese exporter at Countertop Kingdom, I’m excited to chat with you about our Calacatta Gold Quartz countertops.

Let’s dive in!

The Inspiration Behind Calacatta Gold Quartz

The inspiration for Calacatta Gold Quartz definitely comes from natural Calacatta Gold Marble—no surprise there!

That natural stuff is super pricey, positioned as a luxury option that only high-end buyers can afford.

It’s typically chosen for top-tier projects, like those for Middle Eastern tycoons or the wealthy elite’s private clubs worldwide, where budgets can handle the steep price tag of Italian Calacatta Gold Marble.

From what I remember, it can cost thousands of RMB—sometimes 10,000 RMB or more per square meter!

That’s hundreds to thousands of dollars per square meter.

With prices that high, it’s no wonder many consumers and developers shy away.

The Rise of Man-Made Calacatta Gold Quartz

Now, our man-made Calacatta Gold Quartz perfectly mimics the texture of natural Calacatta Marble—okay, not 100% identical, but it gets pretty close!

Of course, if you’re aiming for a texture that’s infinitely closer to natural Calacatta Marble, you can try our printed quartz version of Calacatta Gold Quartz, where we transfer high-definition images of natural Calacatta Marble onto the surface for an even closer match. That’s a story for another day, though!

And the best part? It won’t cost you more than $100 per square meter for 2cm thickness slabs. Yep, you’re looking at just a few dozen dollars per square meter, depending on the style and quantity you choose. Just a heads-up—these are factory ex-works prices from China, meant as a reference, not the final retail price.

For now, let’s focus on our handcrafted Calacatta Gold Quartz. We create it with pure manual effort, offering a book match effect (not the perfect 100% kind, mind you).

Since it’s Chinese-made engineered quartz, the intricate patterns rely on handmade raw material placement. Unlike robotic precision, we can only achieve an approximate book match. Fun fact—I’ve heard that even the fully automated Italian Breton production lines struggle to get that book match effect. Just something to keep in mind!

What Exactly is Calacatta Gold Quartz?

Here’s a little industry secret: there’s no single quartz design officially called "Calacatta Gold Quartz."

So, if you search for it on Google Images, you’ll see a bunch of different looks—why’s that?

In our industry, any man-made Calacatta Quartz with bold, coarse patterns featuring gold, yellow, or golden hues can be labeled Calacatta Gold Quartz. It could be all gold-yellow or just have a touch of golden pigment—either way, it counts!

There’s no universal standard for the name, but most factories assign their quartz designs a unique number. This number links to a specific formula in their lab, used to produce that design. The name? Well, that’s flexible and not a big deal. What matters is getting the number right when ordering—pair it with a slab photo, and you’re good to go. The name itself? Ha, it’s almost optional!

Why the variety? Because one factory’s Calacatta Gold Quartz might have different patterns than another’s.

Stay tuned—I’ll share some photos of various numbered Calacatta Gold Quartz options for you to check out later!

Sizes and Customization

Popular slab sizes for Chinese-made engineered quartz today are 3220x1620mm and 3520x2020mm, with thicknesses of 20mm and 30mm.

Want something different? No problem!

As long as your slab size doesn’t exceed the maximum limit, smaller custom sizes are usually doable—just don’t go too tiny, as that can get tricky to produce.

Give us a shout for specifics—we’ll chat one-on-one!

Thickness-wise, 20mm and 30mm are the go-to options, but 15mm is theoretically possible if you need it. We don’t recommend going thicker than 30mm, though.

Whatever custom slab size or thickness you’re thinking of, let’s discuss it directly with you—we’d love to hear your ideas!

Want a custom Calacatta Gold Quartz pattern? We can do that! It involves creating a new mold, and each factory has a minimum order—typically one 20ft container, around 100 slabs for 2cm or 70 slabs for 3cm. The price depends on how complex your design is.

Super intricate patterns might be tricky to pull off, so let’s chat details via email for an exact quote.

With a custom design, we can even sign a confidentiality agreement, producing and supplying exclusively for you. How cool is that?

Regional Differences in Production

By the way, in China, we have quartz factories in the north, like Shandong, and in the south, like Guangdong and Fujian.

What’s the difference? I’ll be straight with you—southern factories tend to position themselves as more upscale, with finer, more attractive details.

Shandong factories can still sell their Calacatta Gold Quartz, and they’re improving, but the designs often lack that perfect finishing touch. Plus, Shandong’s products are generally cheaper than those from southern factories.

So, it’s up to you—are you aiming for the best value-for-money or building a premium quartz brand? Either way, we’re here to help!

I’ll send you some photos of southern factory Calacatta Gold Quartz slabs to check out soon—stay tuned!
